Off Topic Zoe vs 500

Hi. Aware of the owner's bias. Still:

Need a low cost car for city. Work - Home. That's it (wife has the fancy car).

Contemplating Renault Zoe or Fiat 500 1.2 Manual.

On the one hand, Zoe is literally zero gas (gas is expensive where I am from).

But I worry about repair costs in case of failure (Battery, Inverter, Engine).

500 is a bit more costly, less comfortable for sure, but less of a headache (ironically)?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I reckon the chances of any members having experience of both cars might be a bit slim!- plus of course its the old logic vs emotion conflict!.

only advice i can give is to coldly evaluate the two cars specification's to get the head part-, then read as many owners reviews as possible for both to get a feel for how each car is regarded by there owners plus there reliability scores and real world practicality's.
However it may come down to which one you like the most or the ol "gut feeling" or how much they both are gonna cost!.
Let us know your decision once you've made it! and also why in the end!.
