if it was still doing it after trying another 4 (2 old & 2 new) clusters then that rules that out?

the body computer is not seeing the cluster on the CAN network, you need to take it to a dealership.

Any update to this issue? I know it was years ago but just having the same issue now myself on a 03 1.9jtd.

Any help appreciated.
