Xmas do location

its mint mate lol me and a few (32) lads went for a night on the slopes
lol well lets just say after 4hours in the bar we werent upto much cop but it sure was fun.

anyways i thinks its gots to be a group decision thingy so it might be the first of many good ideas.

what about closer to the m25 area as im right on the south coast same as insy say around heathrow sort of area

running great

Donny - group vote always counts as long as I'm in the group that votes :)
Andy - Few events M25 area. Donnysouth, just north of it, Brookland inside it
Still nowt decided. Just ideas. Those who attend the actual events will have more of a say in the mater. After all - they are the ones that bother on first place. Names that come to mind are MadGT, Sherio, TommyK, Dan, Andy etc etc. List not exhaustive but ya catch my drift

hang about donnylad, that was the meet that i did for the first time, and if i remember correctly it was bloody cold then, it was only earlier this year too,
not a bad idea tho, but trafford centre could eb a good one tho too, just think `fiatboo` descendin on the trafford centre car park and kinda takin over, oooh that`d be fun
thing is i can`t think of anythin further up north

Bravo, why settle for less 1.8GT BRAVO

I'm not fussed, as long as its less than about a hour's drive away.

Peterborough sounds good to me.

what about somewhere like nottingham easy access to the motorway central for most people its somewhere different or somewhere near donny track or somewhere near silvrstone

one life, live it

But you also got to think what there is that we can do there, bearing in mind that it's the Xmas meet, so will be damn cold!

Ya may say that there are only 2 down south but there are NONE up north.

Nearest to us is Midlands

Like I said tho - will put to everyones vote when we find a fewgood places

Does Donny north not count as up north? Or are you discounting it as we didnt go this year? ;)

Travelling around the country for a living as I do, I'd have to say that the most central place for everyone with the easiest access is probably Birmingham. M1, M6, M40, M42, M54 and M5 all pass close to it or go through it, meaning everyone has relatively easy access. I can do deepest, darkest Suffolk to Spaghetti Junction in 2 hours (1 hour 55 last week ;))

Sure, it'll be a stretch for some, but wherever we choose, it's gonna be a pain for someone.

Maybe the people that go to Gaydon this year can see if they have any facilities for hosting parties ?
Star City, which is off Junction 6 of the M6 must have something going on, and a big car park. There's loads of restaurants and bowling too.

At the end of the day, some people will have to travel, but it's worth it :)

Just my £0.02.

Perhaps best for me but at least listen!! Bedford in Beds is sort of central and easy to get to from south and north. I know of a great pub to get a great roastie from because my parents run it. We are always getting good feedback for it and we hold a well respected pub in the town. If there are loads of people coming then perhaps numbers may be an issue but we can cater for most occasions. I am sure that a section of the pub can be set aside for us. If you want pics of the pub and indication of the area post here and I will see what I can get. I will also ask about numbers and what we can do so it is an option and a fairly easy one as a member lives there!!!

I'm really not fussed where it is cos I'll be prob going vir Aylesbury anyhow!

Personally I don't care where it is aslong as the people who say they are comming do come!

If we choose a place closest to the most people & then they don't all turn up I'll be really upset.

******* Blackpool Pleasure Beach *******

Lots of fun, car parks all over the place and proper fish n chips.

Plenty of pubs in the area for a sit down meal.

Yes one hell of a drive up from the south but im sure there has been times where the northern boo's have had to make the extra effort.

XSCAPE in Milton Keynes or Peterboro is good for me,im coming from Dover!! as a "southener" lol, i think 50miles further than that would be too much....

Let's assume Insy is coming (From Deal) and for example let's say Puntomatt in his Alfa (Let's assume Glasgow)

Take the two towns, work out the milage and split it 50-50 - Then it's fair for all.

that makes it about 1omiles from you then Ian ;)

Well bearing in mind... MOST of us will be driving.. so can't drink!

the offer of "plenty of pubs" really doesn't interest me!!

No... if you were to say Go-karting in the snow!!! Now im interested!!!!

lets do summit and have a meal... other than have a meal and sit there watching the non drivers drink!!!
