Came across the forum while searching online. The forum seems to be quite active and lots of information.
I own a low-milage ducato-based (X230 2.8 iDTD) camper, a corona-escape-pod. I'm planning to upgrade it with a newer engine, a drivetrain, a complete wiring loom, a newer dashboard, ABS, airbag(s) and so on. I bought a donor X244 with a 8140.43N engine and disassembled the van already.
You probably know how it goes. Plans get revised. Why not upgrade to even a newer dashboard
The revised plan would be to use still the mentioned X244 engine but use at least X250 dashboard, wiring loom and steering wheel with all accessories, which leads to my question:
Has someone compared or even changed a X244 steering wheel into a X250 one? Would it fit? I would like to use the X244 steering column as much as possible.
