So stopped by to find out a quick question my 500 is due it's first service and I was just wondering if it's possible to have the service done by a non vat regestered machine. He's all lagitamite just only part time and doesn't earn enough to be vat registered help would be wonderful

Hi & welcome, if you bought the car brand new & want to keep the Fiat warranty intact go to a Fiat dealer (ring for cost of first service)or any good garage that will service it properly & fill in your service book, but if your not worried then you can take it to your guy.

Needs to be VAT registered to maintain its warranty.

Given this is its very first year, I reccomend you take it to a VAT registered garage. There might be a garage nearby which specialises in Fiats and will probably be cheaper than the main dealers. I doubt it would be much cheaper than your part-time guy unless he's fiddling the books.
