Well I have a Fiat punto mk2 2002 70,000miles with a 1.9DS Engine

I am deciding between leaving it as it is or make a small turbo on.

I want your decisions, is it worth it or not?

I already gave it a good service and replaced some things all I have left to do is change the shocks.

Engine details:
1.9 DS 60 [ from 1999, [188 A3.000], 1910cc, 60BHP ]
Vehicle Trim Level: (-) OS801D
Engine Code: 188A3.000
Engine Code: 188 A3.000
Bore Ø [mm]: 82mm

Things I changed so far:

engine and gearbox mountings,
tripods,
cleaned the breather blockage from the cap of the engine,
new heater plugs,
changed gearbox fluid,
engine oil,
radiator coolant,
new handbrake mechanism (drums)
break pads,
changed a CV joint,
new set alloy rims,
wheel balance,
wheel alignment

Whether it's worth it or not is something only you can answer. It would certainly be a lot easier, and probably cheaper (when you take into account that it's not just the turbo but all the associated gubbins + ECU which will likely need replaced or modified) to just buy one with the 1.9JTD engine if you're determined to get a turbo diesel Punto. The wheels can be swapped over, but you're then going into "what else is going to need fixed soon?" territory. You have to weigh up the pros and cons of each possible option, and decide for yourself what's best for heart, head and wallet!
