The Panda that beat two World Records in its totally-reliable drive across Africa to London will be at the Auto Italia day at Brooklands, Weybridge, on May 4th...one of several interesting exhibits. Crew will be on hand to answer questions as well, (a bonus!). Given that this chapter of the Forum helped with numerous queries in our prepration, we thought you might like to know this - come and see the car.
While writing, this weeks Autocar magazine (the one with the Jag F-Type and Eagle E-type on the cover) gives pages over to a detailed road test of the new Panda 4x4. Would have got better figures had the engine been run in, but its a positive, upbeat report.
Fiat Dealers now have a special commemorative brochure on the Cape Town to London World Record beating Panda, with lots of photos....limited print run, so when these are gone, there will be no more.
