Italy of course!! Follow them quite regularly, hopefully Scotland will make it one year :smile: Went to tesco last night when the england game was on. You could hear a pin drop in the big Carlisle store :ROFLMAO: and the roads were also dead :grin:

can i be first to say the standard of football has been appaling?

those bloody horns the crowd have makes it like watching football in a bee hive too.

the ball itself is crap aswell, it's like the floaters primary school kids play with, how many passes have we seens bounce over players heads, or goal kicks go straight out for another goal kick? just rubbish tbh.

apart from the sheer entertainment of wtching english goalkeepers, im saying up until now, it's been the worst international cup i've seen. majorly dissapointing.

im supporting Slovakia and i will be putting a bet on that if he plays, Dundee United goalkeeper Dusan "isnae bathered" Pernis will score direct from a goal kick. he has some boot on him and regularly sends kicks in the spl with a proper ball straight through to the other keeper, so no doubt he is capable of putting the ball into another continent if previous keepers kicks with this stupid kiddies football are anything to go by.

I HATE FRIGGIN FOOTBALL :sleeping2::sleeping2::sleeping2::sleeping2:

I'd rather cut the grass in my garden with a pair of blunt scissors / watch paint dry / talk to my father-in-law or take up golf than watch the world cup - not my cup o' coffee :no:

Errm you left out fluff flickin..:secret:..where ya been Hamish not seen you around for a while.. :eek:fftopic:

its the first one I can really watch, now i'm finished school (still got prizegiving to go too =/) so really getting into it...but agree with mark on first page, quality of football from what i've seen so far is pretty poor. Hopefully final 16/8 should be more enticing.

Oh and the buzzing bees in the stadium kind of ruin the typical atmosphere, maybe its a you have to be there to experience it kind of thing?
