thought my car insurance was due today, been ringing round companies for ages and getting quotes for like £3k and thats not with my alloys/induction kit or telling them about my bike accident!

turns out my policy isnt over until the 5th of july (my bday)

£3k is bloody rediculous. i've never paid more than £1200, even when i was a kid, and that was on an AX GT. hell i paid less than that after my ban. wtf is going on these days if you get charged x3 as much for a 1.2 punto?!

put a old person with clean licence as a named driver makes it cheaper, estimate your miles at 2k a year then when you hit 2k ring them up and add more miles

My friend same age as me has a fiesta 1400 zetec 53 plate and he only pays 2 grand with a fault accident on record as well!

Have you put your mum/dat/dog etc on policy as named drivers? thats how mine is so low, im no1 driver so it is cheaper
