I got in touch with Adrian Flux yesterday to see what they could do for me with regards to the Bravo. One of their questions was "Are you a member of any owners clubs?"

I said no but then thought, does that include Fiat Forum?

Someone mentioned to me yesterday that they think FF members get a discount with Adrian Flux.

Is this right? Can I get a discount with Flux due to being an FF member (who has donated :p)?

Cheers,

Si

It would appear so - PNL did just this... :D

Yes I did change to flux insurance from Zurich which are absolutely crap (n) and thanks for doing the bussiness for me Ben (y) They are very very thorough in their search procedure when you take out insurance with them and they question everything ..and will require proof of every little item before they grant you insurance with them [loads of paper work to fill in after you have done the transaction with them on the phone.
And with regards to the insurance cover I took out with them they gave me far more than Zurich ever did [and my son works for them and we had a family discount] and Flux were still better as I got more for my money also [and here's a handy tip] they also do brake down cover called Flux rescue which is far cheaper than any other organization presently trading ;)

Cheers guys (y)

I took a quote reference number and will be getting back to them on Friday (when I plan to take out the policy)

I will see what they can do for me then.

Also got to ask them about a few planned mods.

Had my renewel quote from Adrian Flux at £479,
Greenlight Insurance Services £297,
Contacted Adrian Flux now £285.

Shop around people

The best quote that I managed before trying Flux was £1300.

Flux's online quote came through at £1400

So I gave them a call to see if they could improve on my best previous quote..... They requoted me at £930.

I intend to give them another call this afternoon (previous call was on Monday before I started this thread) and see if they can do me a better deal.

I also want to get some prices with them regarding a few planned mods.

I shall update you as and when I know more.

I was with Adrian flux some ... 8 or 9 years ago and I would never use them again. They didn't send through the certificate of insurance until after 6 months had elapsed into the policy and I had to chase them even then. I thought it was just me that it happenned to but I've since met two other ex customers of theirs who experienced the same.

I ended up with Footman James instead.

That might have been a blip in their customer service, or they may have changed since. But I wasn't comfortable with it thats for sure!
