Il start this off by saying, i can actually park.
At uni, our flats kitchen overlooks the car park - so i always park where I can see my car from there. The end space has a kerb, thats fairly rounded which and doesnt come to the back of the space - meaning you can come into the space at a silly angle, and leave the car there and still get back out.
Whenever i could get this spot, i parked wonky. I didnt think anyone notice, till i got a note udner my wipers from the girls that live below us. It was asking me to 'Please park straigt, because it drives us crazy!' They even did a lil picture of my yellow car showing me how to park in the space straight.
Well after that, it became a challenge to see how wonky i could get the car. The ultimate on the 'wonk'o'meter' would be to have the rear wheel touching the curved kerb and the front bumper overhanging, but not crossing the line. The 'wonk' was then judged from the kitchen window. I think the best i managed was a 9.8. Although there is no photo of this.
I managed to get others to play wonk too. Before i left on thursday, there was a wonk of 5 cars going on. Ok, all didnt know the rules and had spanned two spaces, but it was all in good fun. Heres a few pics!
And, yeah - we did get a lil bored with uni sometimes! All a great laugh tho. We crowned keith, guy with the jeep as 'King of the Car Park' for one of his wonks - there was a speech and everything!
