Technical Wobbly bolts....

Hi,
just bought some OZ 17" and wobbly bolts but i'm having trouble keeping the wheels on!! lol

The bolts were coming loose all the time until i took the brake retaining bolts out(which were pushing the alloys off centre)

They seem to be ok now but still feel a bit shakey

Are these bolts ok or should i avoid them?

Ok STOP! Who fitted your alloys? Sounds like you need to remove all 8 locator bolts that stick out of the discs like little bullets. Remove all 8 of these and refit your alloys making sure they are flush and there is no movement or play in them.

If you got the right bolts then they should be ok, if you paid someone to fit them they need fired before they kill someone!

ok i've taken all 8 out and i will be persuing the fitter with an ass kicking!!

it does seem ok now, just wandering if anyone else had had any trouble like wheels coming off?!

Yup i'll not be letting nasty garages near my locking key again with there nasty impact gun, bent the thing out of shape. :bang:

i know it's not funny however when i went drove to holland for new years holidays i cornered at 20mhp and my 17" wheel came on endep up hitting the pavement then the post.airbags deployed but i was ok. please make sure you have the right alloys for your car..lets save lives..

im from the dead.lol(i know it;s not funny but thought id help ppl)
