Technical witter tow bars - anyone fitted or any bar?

i just bought a witter tow bar for my brava - im just wondering how much of a headache this will be to fit, i know i need to remove the bumper but howmuch hasle is it after this - any drilling cutting etc? or are they a straight bolt up jobby - it should be here thursday but i need it saturday when i get myself some spare time

not the usual add on or bolt on i see on here and yes im addding weight rather than saving it hahahaa

Why not be fore armed and down load the instructions.

Should have bought a post 98 car. That was when the rules changed. Just be thankful its not digital wiring in your car however. Analogue makes that job soooo much easier.

I have fitted a witter towbar to my previous brava, definately drilling involved but there are 'pilot' dimples at the appropriate points. It is a big hole to be drilled however so better get yourself either a cone cutter or one of those steppy things (start at 4mm and end up at 25mm in one drill bit). Also bumper defo comes off, but it's not hard. Make sure you use the sounder for the indicators as this is a legal requirement. Cant remember if there was a bumper cut though.

well it arrived today, a good little buy for just 65 notes all the tow bar the fixing kit and wiring inc the alarming relay thingy-me-bob so tomorrow imgonna have a go fixing it on- providedi get it right ill even post up a how to with pics as there isnt any anywhere that i can find andit may comeof use tosomeonein the future

I have a 2001 3 door Brava and nobody seems to sell a towbar to fit it ?? All the searches I have done quote a 5 door version but none do one for the 3 door model. Has anyone out there fitted a bar to the three door and if so where did you get it and was it easy? I have a big trailer full of rubbish but nothing to tow it with...help
