Wiring Problem !

Bl**dy fog lights !
Ok, front foglight wiring on an HLX. My foglights have stopped working, as far as I can tell the switch is fine (it lights up anyway), the fuse is fine and the actual lights are fine but the things still won't come on.
Is ther another relay or fuse that it passes through between the switch and the lights or is it just likely to be a broken wire somewhere ?
I've powered the lights directly from an external source and they both work fine but just not when using the switch.

there is a relay, but don't ask me where. might be under the glovebox.

have you prodded the switch with a volt meter?
