Trying to trace a potential short, so a diagram would help?

@WitleyPanda Very little in the way of wiring diagrams seems to have been published. There are a few specific circuits in the Haynes AutoFix for the Panda, but none that relate to the mirrors or heated screens. There is one for the door locks and the power windows - but not very helpful as it all heads off into the body computer, and has connections via CanBus too. However, since it shows the wiring colours for these systems, it would let you eliminate those wires from the rest that are in that area. The following go to the central locking and interior light/door open switches in the driver door: white/red (striped), violet/blue, white/black and orange/green. Also, violet/yellow, and violet/green wires are controlling the power window in the drivers door. All black (solid colour) are the earths. When the door is open, the switch inside the latch closes to complete the 'earth' for the interior light and show the 'door open' warning. That will mean that there will be a connection ('short') between the white/red wire and the black earth. Reluctant to post the diagram itself here owing to copyright...

@WitleyPanda -- if you've not already, have a read of this thread thats running as well. Although a different issue, it too was caused by a faulty (in fact, failed) earth wire to a door and shows that they can and do break. https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/right-rear-door-indicated-as-not-closed.505226/post-4719129
