Wireing an LED

Hi,

Anyone know were the best place to put a wire from the engine bay to the inside of the car to wire up an LED switch?

I fitted a microscan talking alarm to my 1.4SX, and the way I went from the engine bay with all the wiring was via a small grommet on the bulkhead at the passenger side.
I had to partly remove the plastic wiper panel coweling
and pull it back to get at the grommet, it is a tight fit to get your hands in though!!. Also to see the grommet from inside the car i had to remove the glove box. Then when i pushed the wires through i just looked up in glove compartment hole and pulled the wires through.
