Technical wire melt during welding

hi guys. can someone help please. i was electric welding my 93 panda selecta and forgot to disconnect the battery. during the welding, i smelt plastic - oh yes, silly me, forgot to check the relevant wiring nearby. but no, that was not the case. no wires anywhere near. later, when i started engine, fuel gauge, temp gauge, and electric rad fan didn't work. where might the fuse be for them, specifically in the fuse box? can see the fan fuse, but not gauge fuses. thanks.

I thnk gauges are under "servizi" fuse, but have to check it later.

it could just be earth's.. but at 93 maybe they would be running the more modern ring types..

on both my pandas i left the batteries in so i could play music on the radio while i was welding... i have so many tape decks its unreal, but i never once damaged any of the electronics when welding.

however with yours having an ECU i would disconnect that from the car.
