Technical Wiper motor in reverse?

I bought an aftermarket wiper motor but it appears to run the wrong way, as it's a computer controlled item that appears to be sealed, can anything be done?

The wipers want to start by going down i.e. into the engine bay before returning to the park position. I turned the splined arms upside down to make them go the other way, as I thought I maybe connected it upside down when servicing the hardware. Unfortunately after some subtle adjustments, despite making the upside down setup not foul it's own mounting and a headlight, the wipers go through their proper full range of motion but the passenger one is faster meaning they collide.

I think I have discovered the issue: I bought a Left Hand Drive spec wiper motor! Hence it wants to do things backwards. Now I see why it was listed on fleabay for £27 instead of £44 like its nearest competitor. None of the listings allude to to fact that there is a different left and right hand version so beware!

Hopefully my modded LHD setup will get me through the MOT tomorrow as correct one doesn't arrive til fri!

can you not just reverse the wires to that motor as motors are like bulbs , you can swap power to either side but a motor will run opposite way if positive and negative terminals are swapped over
