I have a Ducato Motor Home brand new in June and would you believe the wipers have a mind of their own!! When starting they give one wipe, if you are lucky, and then park. If unlucky they stay on until they get fed up and stop on their own!!! The first time I had to drive 10 miles home washing the screen on a hot summers day!!!
Could'nt stop them unless motor was unplugged. Fuse made no difference!
Been in to local, well 28 miles each way, Fiat commercial who interrogated vehicle and could not find any fault. In , I suspect, desperation the fitter disconnected the ? ECU left it for 20 mins. and after reconnection fault had cleared. They admitted that they had never had this fault before.
However it is still somewhat erratic but liveable with for the time being.
Any one had this and any suggestions.
By the way I agree with the lousy speedo "Illumination". I was wondering how to get over it & now I know.
