wiper falling off windscreen

Hi. I'm looking for some advice.

I have a fiat ducato 2005 and the drivers side windscreen wiper falls of the windscreen if I go over 40mph. It ok under this speed and the left one works fine but the right hand one actually snapped off yesterday because it caught the chassis when trying to return and broke off.

Anybody got any ideas what's causing this and how I fix it plz????

Probably a sloppy drive/joint in the windows wiper assembly.

Try this.

With wipers parked at left, middle and right of sweep then try moving each wiper left/right from the parked position. Are they firm or sloppy?

Depending on the results you can progress from here. An option may be to reposition the park/max seep position of the wiper that is having problems.
