Technical Wiper Arms

I went to take the wiper arms off my mulitpla for a quick repaint and found that they have become stuck on.

Anyone else had this problem? If so how did you get them off?

I've sprayed them in wd40 so hopefully that might work.

Any help appreciated

remove the nut and hit the metal part of the arm [about 1 or 2 inches from the nut] by hand,downward toward the screen, repeatedly, till arm comes loose............

Cheers - it sounds a bit brutal but I'll give that a try as wd40 isn't doing anything. I might do the passenger side first, just in case!

Nope that didn't work. Bloody car, even the simple jobs are a PITA.
