Took a bit to get going, but the roads are pretty clear now. Still some residential areas affected and the retail park I work in is still a brilliant place to practice handbrake turns

My street is an actual sheet of ice, I hear people saying it all the time but I cant walk across it!!
Imagine how I felt trying to crawl along at 2mph then sliding into a parking space :S It was insane!

Ellon, in fairness, hasn't been too bad.

Garthdee, however, is ****ing attrocious. What's worse is that the grit salt box is damn near empty.

That said, I did get hold of a barrow and shovel earlier and grit most of the circle. If only a few of the folk who actually live here had the common sense to do the same!

Winter Maintenence, what a fookin joke.

South Ayrshire Council didn't even bother with Symington untill a few days ago.

As for the so called Gritter Lorry's, I went passed one the other night and it wasn't spreading anything apart from maybee Air...

Our road goes uphill, now picture this:
Icy and Slushy Road with Speed Bumps and NO Grit at all.....

I removed a Big chunk of ice from my grill yesterday, as it wasn't melting.

As for tha road leading to the A77, well one morning I was barley even doing 20mph and it's a 60MPH Road and a main bus route.
