Technical windscreen wipers?

Bought my GP in april. A month or so ago the passenger wiper blade was stuck (i didnt know till i lifted it) to my car while i was washing it, lifted the wiper and the rubber blade broke. Now ive gone to halfords and looked at their charts trying to find a replacement but they dont seem to do GP wipers. Anyone have surggestions on where to get some wipers?

Im not sure but i wouldnt have thought wipers would be covered by the warranty.

you can only get them form fiat ATM.. your looking at about a tenner...

I paid £20 for a pair about 6 months ago.....

then again i need a new drivers side one they dont last long before you get an annoying smear right in the line of view

I have checked parts cost fo the GP on the shop 4 parts website and they are very resonable for most bits. Problem is,because so many GP`s are still in warranty they seem to have a limited range.

Grande Punto Wiper Blade Prices

I have never known such exorbitant prices for wiper blades for any car that I have ever owned.

The front ones have a unique fitting to try and ensure that you can only buy them from Fiat. For the rear one, it seems you have to buy the whole arm and blade as a unit, rather than just the blade. Scandalous!

Current quoted prices for a pair of front wiper blades for Grande Punto:-
Dealer £26.00 (in stock but 15 miles away)
Halfords over £29 (special order several days)
Local motor factor nearly £28 (special order several days)

BUT it's well worth donating to this site, then you can find the discount code for Shop4Parts. Using that, total price for the genuine Fiat items, inc VAT and 48 hour recorded post delivery £19.14

Shop4parts is the best place to get them, think either side go for under £15.

You can get them from halfords without special order if you look for the Corsa D wipers, as they are the same, cost £27 though
