Unfortunately, my windscreen wipers have chosen a snowy Christmas week to die on me. I have tried replaceing the 20A fuse with a brand new one - no joy. The thing that made me think it was needing a new fuse rather than a new motor is the fact that the scooshie is not working either, and I believe they work from the same fuse.
Anyone any ideas before I go raking through the scrappy for a new wiper motor???

:bang:

Possibly the stalk? If the fuse is fine and the wash and wipe dont work (and the washers are not simply frozen or blocked - try sucking water out the pipe to test that) then it could be the control stalk.

Basically you need to see if there is power going TO the stalk switch - if there is then it's not a fuse/wiring problem.
Then check if power LEAVES the switch. If not, it's the switch. If it does, it's the wiring between the switch and the motor or the motor themselves
