General window problems

Hi,
I hope someone can help. The right hand-side electric windows work fine on the front door and sliding door.
However the left hand side drivers window just makes a click sound when using the switch and the window on the sliding door doesn't make any noise at all. Neither window show any inclination to move.

I have checked obvious things like fuses, electrical connections etc but still no success.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have spent some time on this problem and in trying to find a workshop manual and diagnostic repair manual. Does anyone know where to get these?

Just to be sure...
The sliding door and window don't work correct ?
Have you checket the contacts on the sliding door ?
The contacts can explain fix the window not sure about the door

Hi Ric,
Both sliding doors work, just the window on the LHS sliding door and window on the LHS(passenger) front door don't work. I have checked the contacts. Just trying to get hold of a circuit diagram and/or troubleshooting guide.
