Hi Guys,

bought some Team Heko Wind deflectors for my 5 door Bravo. back ones went on a dream, front ones seem that the bit nearest the pillar between the doors catches, and the window prevents damage by rolling itself back down.

I've tried inserting the clip in, but it seems that the rubber grip ends? - and as such, wont stay in. Has any one else had this problem, and can they shed light on any tips?

Put them in and leave windows up over night for them to set ,i had same problem and it worked for me , i didnt put clips in because they were scraping window when going up so mine or just held in by the sticker strips ,but a year and half now ,and theve never fell out ?

Right I know exactly what your problem is. I have the same issue. There's a rubber strip running down the 'B' pillar that pushes the deflector into the path of the window. I solved this with another clip. I don't actually have the rear wind deflectors in as I don't like them. They're useless. So I used the extra clips for the front ones. This is how I placed them

Here's a quick diagram I made the blue is the deflector the pink are the clips.

It's a bit fiddly but if you push the extra clip into the B pillar horizontally it pulls that rubber strip out allowing the window to push passed it. I've had them fitted like this for about 3 months and they're absolutely fine. Another tip I have is the very end of the wind deflector (nearest the wing mirror) pull it out towards you so that the base if the deflector is sitting over the rubbers that run along the bottom of the window. I used to have this catch the window on it's way back up too. This has solved all my issues and I love mine, of course if you want to keep the rears you will need to get hold of some extra clips or try and fit the rear deflectors with only one clip.

(Thank my post if it works ;) )

My heko wind deflectors lasted 4 weeks. Fitment wasn't great and after some tweaking they would still move a bit in heat - of course you wouldn't find out until you were going down a motorway and the window keeps going back down due the the anti catch facility :)

So since taking them off, I've not missed them and wind noise on motorway had plummeted. I found that although they provided an air inlet when raining, they generated a lot of wind noise at speed.

So for now they are sitting in my shed awaiting their fate :)
