Hi guys, mate from work just brought to my attention a friend of his is selling a 1.4 turbo engine out of a fiat punto.

Was wondering would this fit into my 1.4 Fiat Bravo?

Is the gearbox the same he says that its all there engine, gearbox and running gear. Just need to know if anybodys done this and basically if its possible, does the wiring loom split up and will it be easy to wire up?

He want about £150 for the lot and my mate said its done less than 100k miles mines just broke 77k.

Any help would be appriciated

Id be extreemly wary if the turbo hasnt been replaced or refirb at those kinda miles.
Cant help you with anything else, but its just a thought.

The punto and bravo don't share the same floor pan so its unlikely engine mounts, drive shafts etc will line up.

If its the same gearbox casing then you could use your driveshafts, that leaves engine mounts to sort out.

After that its electrics, fuel system (incl fuel pump), cooling, exhaust etc..

like i thought would be to much messing about lol, although would be realy nice lol, they should have made a 1.4 bravo turbo lol.
