Will this head unit fit?

Will this head-unit...ALP-CDA9833R...(click here) work in my fiat punto mk2 with subwoofer and original speakers? will i need any extra fitting adapters other than the fascia? Cheers, Tom

The standard speakers should work as they *should*(correct me if i'm wrong cos not 100%) be wired into the ISO connector.

The sub however is a different matter. Im not sure they're wired up the same as normal amps/subs. If its connected via an RCA then you'll be fine. If its a funny connector, then you'll have to get an adapter (if they do them - again not 100%)

I think some-one once told me that the sub works off the back two speakers, and actually has no wire into the actual head-unit..as you have said..i may be wrong! lol! i think there is an ISO conector in there, and, i have a feeling that it might be the same as the one that plugs directly into the alpine unit, can anyone confirm these things for me? cheers, Tom

The punto sub uses speaker level inputs You were told right.
