that'll depend upon what you do with it and what you want it to acheive.
put it in your fuel tank when you fill up, but also, a little tip i use on my old car, take out your spark plugs, and drop a coupld of drips of redex in each chamber, give it twenty minutes, replace spark plugs, start engine and give it a good hard few revs, its fun 
and you may see some white smoke and a smell for few seconds, but thats cleaning around that area
