Has anyone had any experience with 14" wheels and 60 profile on a cinq that has been lowered 40mm?

Im sure this question has been asked a million times but i cannot find a straight answer.

Cheers

it began as 40mm, but is a bit more now.

what im trying to say, if a lowered cinq on 13's rubs - then 14's are going to as well, unless you're fitting uber skinny tyres

yeah i understand, but if it was lowered 60mm or somthing and the 13s rubbed with a high profiled tyre i would understand. i wasnt sure how low your car was. when i bought mine, it had 14s with 60 profile tyres on them, but that was with standard springs and there was plenty of room...

cinqspoiler (4).JPGmy cinq was lowered -40mm. had 185/60 R14 and didn't rub. no spacers either. the offset was a faction higher than standard. cant remeber what now though. but i know they was damn close to the rear arm.

least i think they was 185.

your arches havnt been rolled have they?

i flared them out myself. if you have a close look at the arches. they not squared off like normal, so could take bigger wider wheels, but they was no way near the arch though. but dont take my situation as gospel and it'll be fine for you.

only time i got a little scrubage was when i spaced my 13's out by 32mm, lol.

so you "should" be ok. but dont take that as deffinate
