Technical Will i need a new engine?

I have a 1108CC Cinquecento Sporting (Yellow).

I got it from my brother and the head gsket had blown twice when he had it. the 2nd time it blew he couldn't be bother fixin it so e gave it to me.

We stripped it down and found a huge channel in the head. My dad said this could be due to no anti-freeze so we got a new head, new gaskets, a new radiator (old one leaked) and a new temp sensor (temp guage din't show owt). Now something's gone again cos the oil is frofy. this is only 2 months after we replaced head. My dad suggested that it may be the part which the head goes on that has warped from my brother running it and getting it overheating.

Is this the case or is it something else?

Also the temp guage is still not working.

does sound like the block may have been warped if its a constant issue.
did you get the 'new' head skimmed(or at least checked) to ensure it was flat?

I know its a bit alte now, but the block face should be checked for squareness when a head gasket is replaced.

I presume all the faces were throughly cleaned before assembly.
