Will a 1.9 JTD radiator fit a 1.9 TD?

hi all,

As in the title I know the 2 cars are very similar and my radiator went last week. I have managed to source a cheap JTD radiator online but want to be sure it fits. otherwise its going to have to be a new one at £180. which is a bit much for me at the mo!


I have a 1999 1.9 TD100

No a Jtd radiator will definatly not fit a TD. Ive tried and the pipe inlet and exit positions are different.

looks like i'll have to fork out as the local scrappys dont have any in either.

Theres a couple of online screenscrapers you can try, will search a couple of hundred breakers who will post to you.
usually not that cheap, but a LOT cheaper than new if you are struggling locally

Cheers for the help guys but i have tried 2 of those sites already but they don't have my part dunno why but apparently its rare for one to go on the TD and mine has the temp sensor fitted just above the bottom pipe connection, which stumped a few of the local scrappy's


I ended up going to a mate of my brother for a new one at cost price. he usually only deals with alpha's and fiat coup's but used his contacts to get me one delivered new for £85 arrives tomorrow.
