wierd revs.

if i have the revs up around 4000-4500 rpm. and out of gear. and just take my foot off the accel. the revs drop as the should but get to about 1000rpm stop for a second then drops again to 750rpm, really wierd. dill saw it do it. just wondered if any 1 knew wat it could be...

My 1.8 does the same, if im rolling out of gear it will idle @1k when i come to a stop it drops to 750rpm. Not weird, just italian. Nuff said.

1) emissions
2) gives a bit more vacumn to the brake servo

when at stand still my revs go up and down from 1000 to 750 but not every time the car is at a stand still.

is this right.

Stu: Mine sorta does the same.. I had this conversation with Daz as his does the same too (When it was working that is)

Mine used to idle at 1,400Rpm if I was rolling out of gear and drop to exactly 800Rpm at a standstill.
Now after angeltuning it idles at 1,100Rpm when rolling at 800Rpm at a standstill.

I guess that's why they say you get increased MPG after tuning, lol.
