I'd rather like to fit wider wheels to my 4x4, but still 13" dia. They are std 4.5j at present. Does anybody know of another fiat steel which is 5.5 or 6 that would go straight on?

Don't listen to them party poopers! :p

13" Punto steels are 5" and will fit. They are right about the fuel filler issue though but that depends on your tyre tyre size more than the wheels. If you stay with no more than 165/70's you'll be fine.

Also depends if you ever have fatties in the back or not around roundabouts

I use 5.5x14 with 175/65-14, ET of the rims is 45mm, 10mm spacers are required front and rear.

I don't much about pandas but if they are like any of the other fiats and alfas of the period then there will be a lot of choice. Do they have a 98pcd? If so there will be plenty of 13" wheels to go for. A set of alfasud wheels would be ideal, 98 pcd, 5.5j, 13" rim.

Yep 98pcd. (Someone will chime in if I'm wrong)

Many thanks to all above for the advice. I shall be trawling e-bay for suitable sets. 2 of my standard wheels have inner tubes as the valve holes have corroded. I will mend these by patch welding & redrilling, but in the meantime I need to keep rolling. Thank you all again.
