Helo peeps, got a strange problem where by the front of my daughters Seicento 1.1 S (MY 2002) wobbles under excelleration . When you ease of the gas the wobble disipates and all is well!!
Now I have checked the drive shafts and wheels for buckeling, all ok, had wheels rebalanced all ok even checked all suspension and engine mounts but still no resolve :bang:
Now Im sure I have read or heard some where that Fiat had a problem with the CV joints but cant be sure??
Can any of you good fellows able to enlighten me please??

is it like a rumble you can feel up the clutch pedal?

check that the rear gearbox mount is intact as they do give up alot

If no rumbling grumbling, I'd suspect that the track rod ends (they're ridiculously cheap) or the wishbone bushes are fubar.

I experienced a similar phenomenon when someone else popped a new engine and wishbones in my old Fulvia -- they left the TRAs a bit loose sothat whoever did the tracking would have an easier time of it -- too damn loose!

Engine mount would be the prime suspect, but I would also suspect the diff bearings. When was the gearbox oil changed/checked.

Cheers

SPD

Just ordered oil so will change in the next few days.
I noticed whilst changing the inner cv boot that the oil was a little mucky so will be changing as a precaution.
Will check engine mount when I complete the above task.
Thanks for you help peeps.
