Well, how things change - seem to be having a run of bad luck at the moment
Not content with the crow 'episode' ( see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5273) fate decided to really rip my knitting in a big way. On the way into work the very next day I had to take a corner (that's might rough on the inside) a hell of a lot might tighter than I would have liked thanks to a wayward Porsche driver who obviously had little idea about the laws of physics. Anyway, my avoiding action took me more than a smidgen offroad and after an almight 'bang' the car felt a wee bit "odd " afterwards...... so I checked it over the following morning when I was washing the car of mud/debris.
Both N/S front tyres (Michelins, with a mere 10k miles on them) had bloody great bulges on the sidewalls :smt009
So I went over to a local tyre fitters and had 2 Vredestein Sportrac 3 tyres fitted. Mid-fitting the tyre 'guru' there called me over to have a look at the rear tyres...... oh feck...... n/s rear was borderline illegal and the o/s rear had some tread coming loose (both were BF Goodrich) so I had to have all four tyres changed :smt022
So now there's 4 nice new Vredestein Sportrac 3 tyres (V-rated) on the car for a smidgen over £300 :? Balls
There goes my birthday **** up #-o and if I ever see that Porsche again :smt066 :smt067 :smt021 :smt027 :smt062
