Whos that knocking on my floor!!!

just discovered yet another fault.....

theres a nocking sound coming from underneath the car where the drivers feet go, this is only when braking, going over bumps, and cornering........


any ideas?

(its not the exhaust system as ive checked)

Any idea what a knocking sound in the drivers side at the rear might be Tom? you only have to be going 2mph or turning slightly and the knock is fairly audiable

ive had something similar

though i found mine to be the cv joint, the noise is only there when im not accelerating, a rotating noise which is annoying so i just drown it out with my radio - until i can get it fixed! could be that but its more of a wheel of fortune type sound! - you know what i mean!

URGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds to me like your wheel nuts have been loosend!! Better check them quick mate!!

Rear wheel bearing? There is not much in the resr suspension to fail. Get it up on stands and give everything a good wobbling. (don't do it on a jack, the car could fall and make a big mess)

Should be easy for any decent garage to spot the fault.
