Wash jets have stank when used lately so took the nuclear option of putting dilute bleach in to kill off germs. Really couldn't see any other option. No more smell but 1 x headlamp washer started to cry permanently after squirting it all out. Actually - this could have been where all the washer fluid has been going lately as it runs out v quickly?

Does anyone know whether the sprinklers are user serviceable and - is the valve in the unit or the pump? Grateful for any ideas or guesses as I think the bumper has to come off for the sprinkler? No parts for sprinkler on Eper.

What is it with Tipos? :worship: You mend all known defects then by magic more appear.

This weekend got 1) solved the leccy window reverberting as it went up. 2)Cleaned grease off the screen wiper contact relay for the 90th time. 3)Tried to get aerial off as causing bad reception but wouldn't shift. Got on roof and left small dent !

Hi mate - what the hey is the pic you posted? Can't see what it is for the life of me?

Yeah it's likely if you were losing fluid and you just found a leak ofc it will probably be the reason lol - but is it possible that using bleach might have 'distressed' some already aged and perished seals and just made it worst? What sort of concentration did you use (I'm sure you didn't do it neat heh) Bleach can be a rather destructive chemical when you least expect it

Cheers, it was 1/2 cupful in a bucket (which is the capacity of the washer bottle).

A motor moves the jets out of the bumper (as pic) then it sprays, then retracts again. In the pic the cover's off and its wedged out with a piece of metal to stop it dribbling 24/7 into the fog light below!

Anyway, the part is no longer available seemingly - so finding another is going to be like finding rocking horse poo.:shakehead:

Managed to get a Tempra headlamp washer jet (which you might think would be the same?) But no, this being Fiat. The bumper cover fits on it differently (ball into socket, not thro grips on the side), the spray head is a different length, and the unit is bigger ! :bang:
