How long's a piece of string?

That's a difficult, and some would argue, potentially contentious question ;).

As within any Forum, there will be some members that are good with certain aspects of the subject.

Some will be Electrical/Electronic wizards, others will be more Mechanically minded.

Some won't know much about either, but will have good logical/methodical minds, and will be able to think through a problem without having to have too much actual 'expertise'.

Then there will be the 'old-timers', who have a wealth of experience just from having owned the relevant vehicle for ages (or they work with/on them), their experience may be direct, i.e. they've had the problem(s) themselves, or indirect, where they've read about so many other instances, and how they were resolved, in their time on the forum that they can advise others using this knowledge (usually to a newcomer who hasn't searched enough:rolleyes:).

Not forgetting the ones that have amazing memories (that or an almost obsessive habit for keeping notes of every little thing they do to, or buy for, their vehicle, where/who they got it from and how long it lasted). They're the ones that can instantly tell you the best parts to get and where to get them.

Last, and by no means least, are the ones that rarely have any relevant or useful info, but are fantastic at keeping your spirits up, when your whole world (well usually the mechanical and monetary side of it at least) seems to be falling apart before your eyes.

There's probably others that I've missed (I'm sure you'll think of many), but a good Forum will have, and need, them all...yes, even the complete d##kheads that think they know it all but definately don't (none on here so far (y) but then I'm relatively new :D), they show us how lucky we are to be (mostly) normal
