Re: White Grande Sporting

looks similar to what i used i waited til a section dried before stretching it over to another i used copydex glue and let it dry for a few mins before putting the fabric on to avoid it soaking through.

not sure which seller i used though was same sort of price.

Re: White Grande Sporting

Your a spoon you really are. Its faux suede its gonna be cheap. Tell you what i will sell it you for £15 a meter is that any better for you? You have no experience of it, how do you know what quality it is and how much do you think it should be for it to be good?

Re: White Grande Sporting

I have compared the ebay alacantera to the more expensive stuff side by side and you can tell the difference. I forget what the other stuff is but i can find out.
I really have problems trying to cover my A pillars as there are some pretty extreme angles on it. It would be easier to use vinyl but i dont really want vinyl.

Not the best pictures but i am trying to cover these.

Re: White Grande Sporting

Im not linking you to alcantara? Suede and alcantara are 2 completely different materials. Proper alcantara is between 50-80 a metre. To trim those you need to start on the build and work round slowly doing small sections at a time and stretching as we have already said to do.

Re: White Grande Sporting

it would prob be easier to smooth it out more than try something that complex without going to a pro

Not a chance the lines are made to tie into the shape of the bonnet. Anything else would look silly. We did try a few different shapes. Also the edge almost go's out the door lol so we have to have it that shape for the sill strip thing to go back on.
Im not doing it on my own somebody who actually knows what they are doing is helping me. I am just trying to do a bit of the homework myself otherwise i will learn nothing lol.

Re: White Grande Sporting
