White Dials

Hi Everyone,

As I have noticed that a lot of you are using white dials and they look very smart. i was thinking of using them on my 1.4sx that is if I can find them.

Where is the best place to get them from?

I've only got a few sets for mk1 16valvers and a couple of mk2 hgt models left, I'm about to bung everything I've got remaining on ebay, so if yours is a mk1 16v let me know quick if you want some!

alas my is a mear 12v without rev counter sob. lol, so no go for me then. Changing the subject do you know anyone locally that can do touch ups or resprays?

Iceash, there's a guy in Acton, Bull Lane Industrial Estate, I don't have his number, but it's just off the bypass (going from Melford to Lavenham, then 2nd right onto Bull Lane).
His name is Bailey. (Don't have his number)He's pretty cheap, but kinda scruffy, like he doen't make any efforts to clean your car, he got primer overspray on one of my sills, but he did fill my rear reflectors quite well and paint my spoiler etc, but depending on what you want done, he may do a cheap enough job.

There's another guy who works at Quikfit in Sudbury, Dan, who fitted my tyres on the cheap last week who said his mate does spraying.
Obviously I havent seen his work, but call in and chat to him, or call him on 07753 275 742 (He gave me a card when he fitted my tyres!)

He's also running a sideline in MOTs servicing, tyre fitting, brakes, exhausts, on the premisis on his days off! Cheaky bastard!

I've only a 12v too. They look the same shape etc as the standard ones I already have.

Is there a way to alter them so they fit?

If they look the same (Look at where the numbers start/stop etc too), then by all means, order a set from me and offer them up. If they look really different when you get them obviously I'll refund you if you return them.

Can't say I've ever seen the dash of a mk1 12v Bravo so I have no idea how they look!

Slimster & IceAsh- They look exactly the same! I guess instead of 16v I should have said 'non-HGT'

Sorry m8, mines different to the one on the photo don't have a rev counter for starter's and my dial is a semi circle also only going upto 120mph.

Shame Iceash, In that case I don't have any that would fit.

To make them, I took apart my originals, scanned them, deisgned the new dials over them as an illustrator file, got them cut in vinyl, wedded out the bits I wanted light to come through, mounted them on blue lighting gel, mounted frosted film front and back, cut them out and punched out all the holes!

Take up to 45 mins per set to assemble once they've been cut!

If your dead set on some Iceash, the german guy I know can make you some. Depends how flash you wanna be with the design as to cost (£45+)
