General Which turbines I can use in Uno Turbo MK1

Hello, which model turbines I can use in Uno Turbo MK1 1987year.
I have found IHI VL7 from Punto GT, is the turbo is same like IHI VL2?

The IHI VL7 from Punto GT a bit larger than VL2 compression rotor, and I think you can swap it without great problems, only check carburation 'cos it could be lean especially at high pressures!

I want to tell me that I will have very large boost from turbo???
DO I will have problems with fitting turbo in outtake manifold?

You could visit an italian forum for Punto GT...I assume you understand a little bit of my language!By the way I advice you not to go over 1.2bar of constant pressure at 6000rpm...with about 1.6max boost pressure!Those are the common accepted values of pressure which guarantee a good reliability for the stock IHI VL7 turbocharger!Of course you need to change the wastegate valve because the original one hasn't an enough stiff spring!

I found recycled turbo IHI VL2, only this turbo is suitable for Uno Turbo 1.3 MK1. Now car stopped smoking. Only when the car is cold morning, when I start motor there is a few blue smoke, but after 5 seconds desappear!!!Btw, it is good idea to throw away wadding. The sound of turbine in exhaust is like aircraft whistle!!! The sound is great!
