Ok, so I've got a plastic one from an 899cc Sei/Cinq but Ive also got the materials to make one with a 76mm inlet from aluminium.

However, I was thinking this morning, would there be any significant benefit of the 76mm inlet over the 45mm of the plastic inlet? Bearing in mind that any airflow will be restricted to 40mm at the TB anyway, so what difference if its restricted to 45mm at the bob?

So which should I use?

I am, at some point, going to go the dreaded 'T' route, so would a metal bob be better suited for that?

Cheers,

Pat:)

Thanks, some interesting stuff in there. Why the heck couldn't I find it when I searched though? :bang:

By far and away the best design I've seen for a bob. One nice smooth curve for the pipe too :)

Yeah, looks like a really good bit of kit and one that I may buy in the future. But not within my current budget.

Aluminum and my time are cheap like the budgie lol (y)

Google: hammer forming aluminum

Incidentally, wonder if anyone has married a Dexcraft bob to a GSR induction kit?

The Dexcraft bob looks quite long and moves quite far to the right, not sure if the GSR would fit? Also, how big is the diameter of the GSR at the bob end? The Dexcraft one has a much larger diameter than the 899 bob.
