You would think TPF+T insurance would cost less than Fully Comp. For my 1997 Marea 20v I've been quoted £224 TPF+T or £208 Fully Comp

Mine was slightly cheaper on fully comp with some of the quotes I got, I put it down to showing you were prepared to take more care of the car and be less likely to be involved in a crash; though it could easily be the same old case of random number syndrome
