Would this bulb make a big difference to the standard bulb that's in now?

I think you will definitely notice the difference over the standard festoon - with this bulb holder (the one that's pictured that you have) I think a led bulb makes a big difference as it is only a small area and only requires a single bulb (unlike mine)

And for such a little price there is no harm  :)

These are really bright. But they stay on a little even when the ignition is off. Something to do with leds always drawing current.

Same with house bulbs tooo

got some LED spot lights in - and even when off - you can see the ring of LED's just glowing in the background

So much for saving energy....
the pull tho should be sooo tiny tho - it shouldnt affect the battery

However - im pretty sure the interior light is BSI powered? That aint gonna do it any good surly?
Ziggy

Mine affected my battery considerably. My battery is less than a year old and after installing one of these my car struggles to start sometimes . I know this could be a coincidence but it never happened before i put the light in

if fitting in a truck it should be ok if its a 12v system otherwise if its a 24v truck they bulbs will go pop

the body computer does supply the interior light and it runs off a logic voltage which means you can get a transient voltage when the bulb is off, not a problem with an incandescent bulb but with LEDs which are low voltage and low current they can and will light up if the transient voltage is enough and they will glow dimly
