Styling Which Exhaust do I get ?

Nope..........................................

my exhaust fits every Stilo (except the 1.2) perfectly, so no, you didn't miss a thing! Anyway, it aint that bad for a 1.6 and it'll be better once Nige gets his hands on it, or is that me ???

Yeah even the Supersprints are the same exhaust for all but the 1.2..
I would imagine the beautiful sound of the 2.4 will shine through with one of these though.. problem is, its a 2 week wait for the parts..theres none in the country at the moment..

and

GET THIS..according to the guy at the shop I phoned in yorkshire, the stilo parts are starting to become more popular because the car is getting noticed more now, and soon these places will be holding stock for these cars instead of ordering from Italy.. whooooooee not sure if its good or bad though :)

As long as the tat brigade don't catch on and start making chrome wingmirrors and s**t like that for them, thats fine, but when that happens, we might end up with a few to many of the Max Power type buying Stilo's, look what happened to the Focus.

Well I got the new exhaust fitted today...I can't believe what a difference its made to the looks of the car...I got it from Mike Stokes in Bournemouth..Its a powerflow dealer..The service there was unbelievably good...the care that was taken with the car was 1st class i would recommend them to anyone..
well heres a pic of the new system..let me know what you think..Pesonally Im well pleased with the choice i made and it sounds perfect...

Bob.. I have cleaned it a couple of times with normal car shampoo..but since then I use this really amazing stuff.... I can't believe how good it is...
Once the cars cleaned thoroughly every couple of days I spray it with this stuff called Dry Wash'n Guard Ultra Ion...its a type of cleaning wax..you just wipe it on and buff it off..... and any small scratches or tar spots I use Dry Wash'n Guard Oxy gone ..thats why it looks so clean...bits and stuff just don't stick to it... Expensive but worth it if you wanna keep your car immaculate.

Nice choice - the twin outlooks look great...any performance increase? and does it compliment the sound of the Abarth's engine?

Funnily enough........................

when I drove the Abarths, I was shocked at how quiet the engines are, mine is a lot noisier and intrusive, but as I said to Stu, it's probably because you have to work it a lot harder to make progress!

Nice choice mate (y)

That cleaning stuff sounds interesting, hard to get your head round the idea of washing without water though?

You say you gave it a good clean first, so I take it this stuff would be outgunned on a really filthy car?

Do you need to buy the buffing towel and applicator etc, or do you just use ordinary polishing cloth?

Jasper..

Thanx M8... Performance is apparrently an extra 5% BHP so if thats right then a gain of about 8 bhp... I can say it certainly feels like theres a bit of an extra kick to it.. but then that may be the fact that you can really hear the engine purr when you pull off... so yes it does compliment the Abarth engine really well... theres a really nice deep burble to it.. when i took the car in, the guy said he would take off the back box and see if it was gonna be too noisey by testing it without the box on... He said he had never heard as nice a sound from an engine before this day... so he said go for it...
The box they put on there was small enough to keep that sound without it being intrusive... I really can't believe how much it was worth the money..

Thanx m8...

Yeah it says on the bottle of stuff you can use it on a moderately dirty car..
Buy I wouldn't personally because its gonna drag dirt across the paintwork
and will scratch...So what i do is give it a good clean and then after a day, use this stuff like a wax...you spray it on about a Square meter at a time..then rub it to a haze with a terry towel... then use a buffing cloth which you can also get from that link i gave you...its a lot quicker than waxing though...and yes you could do with the applicator too.... then every few days or whenever you feel like it...if you don't let the dirt build up too much on your car you will never have to use water again...
Hope this helps m8... Im certainly gettin more of the stuff when its gone...
