I thought driven was ok. It was the original deals on wheels that bugged me. In fact, Mike Brewer bugs me full stop with the faux buyer clips and his know it all ness!

Yeah, Mike Brewer is a bit of a tit. Give him an Italian car name and he'll mispronounce it epically. His co-host on Wheeler Dealers, Edd China knows his stuff though. Great to watch that show for all the mechanical know how he gives out (y)

Yep, though I suspect from his leanings he's a dub man at heart. Hey ho, we can't all be perfect :slayer:

The other thing with Brewer is his ever changing stance on buying or selling cars. Ultimately, yes, it'll be determined by the programme viewpoint (ie selling or buying cars) but he seems to contradict himself quite a bit!

i remember the eppisode where he steered a guy away from a mk2 punto beacuse it didn't have a red key ;)

there was a great reason it didnt have a red key!, it never bloody came with one!, if he's going to do these shows on telly, he could at least do a little bit of research

he also did alot of writing for auto express, where he also came across as somebody who didnt really totally know what he was doing... and a tit, quite a feat i thought, managing it on both tv and in print (y)

Yeah, I remember that one about the Punto, made me laugh a bit :D

I remember one of two of the Wheeler Dealer episodes that were just truly cringe worthy due to his great communication skills on the continent. The Fiat 500 one springs to mind for example. I honestly believe the producer didn't use a translator just for the comedy value of watching Brewer try to communicate with Italians :D
