Hi
I have a Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 Unleaded and got it MOT & serviced last week. I was told that the rear crank engine oil seal is leaking and needs to be replaced. I recently had an accident which involved mounting a kerb which meant that the following parts had to be replaced:
Rear exhaust silencer
Front Exhaust silencerFront spoiler
Front Lock carrier
Sump
Oil pan gasket
Axle support attachment
Man gearbox abutment
Front exhaust pipe with CAT
I claimed on insurance and therefore the parts are still under warranty so I am wondering if you would have expect the rear crank engine oil seal to have been replaced as part of these works and whether I can get insurer's approved garage to repair it or is it a completely separate repair I need to pay for myself?
Thanks for any help
Kathryn
