Styling Where to get new carpet for Cinq?

Hi, bought an old Cinq Sporting to play about with. Can anyone tell me where it is possible to get a new carpet (not mats) in red?
Also, the steering wheel has an airbag, is this right as I didn't think the Cinq came with one?

don't know about the carpet, but some 1997 and 1998 cinqs have a air bag in the steering wheel.

could you not take the carpet out, and use it as a template?

have it total custom then, and probably cheaper

Mine is 1996, so possible then. Just looked out of place seeing an airbag in it.
Don't mind having a carpet made, but don't know where. Didn't know if there was a supplied people on here used.

i looked for my sei but didn't find one, so thought that might be the next best option. let us no if you find one, id love a purple carpet

you wont get a new carpet, not for a 15 year old car

You could take it out always spray it yourself but it would take ages and probably many layers

Maybe a local carpet shop has something that could knock up a design using youre existing crapet as a template?

Would a Sei carpet fit a Cinq? Would be up to three years newer. Though not red, which would get filthy, though if you're having it made you could get clips put it and have some matching mats made (clips to stop them moving around underfoot).

My 1998 has an airbag steering wheel, but a cover instead of an actual airbag. If it had a steering wheel airbag would there be one on the passenger side as well, or was that an option?

Found a local company that may have a go at carpet so will update at a later stage.
Final question on airbag, should there be a light on the dash when you put ignition on?
I will no doubt have many questions when I start taking the car to bits so all help is much apreciated!

dont forget the OEM carpet has a plastic backing that it is formed onto

Wouldn't have an airbag light if it isn't really an airbag, like mine. Does it actually say airbag on the wheel?

It does have airbag written in the centre. Looks like a wheel from a Sei.

i dont think it is an air bag just a empty shell from the sei cross over. it wont have a light even if it did... early seis had mechanical airbags

My empty one hasn't got airbag written on the cover though, unlike ones that have (check Google img search).

the cinq rugby ball wheels without the airbag are a fantastic hidden storage space for wallets or if you want to leave your phone somewhere out of sight whilst parked etc etc the cover just pulls off
