General Where to find a new engine? HELP

Hi all,

I urgently need a new engine for my brother's Ducato Camper 1989 non turbo , he has broken down in France and I said I would drive one over to him from the UK, but I'm having problems finding one anywhere. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Its a 2.5 diesel , any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Just a suggestion depending where your bro is. there are some huge scrapyards in france and Spain and they may have an engine.
Try to get some help from a local mechanic to source one, it could always be thrown into the back of a hire car.

Im having similar trouble finding gearbox parts for my 1986 ducato petrol camper- was told by a garage to check out this website and they sell engines etc (very good).
